True love shines.
Chrissy & Jonathan were married on a crisp October day in Essex, CT. Chrissy carefully prepared to see Jonathan for the first time at their gorgeous home. Along with the couples daughter and fur babies, Chrissy's closest family joined in the getting ready festivities. Meanwhile, Jonathan and his best man got ready at the Griswald Inn, just a short walk from the park where Jonathan would see his ladies for the first time.
The day was overcast, clouds thick with impending rain as mist enveloped the little town of Essex. But for these two sailors, inclement weather is just a way of life and they were determined to enjoy their first look outside no matter what.
Very rarely is there such a joyful first look, proving true love shines through even the greyest of days. As Jonathan turned around he was greeted by the two loves of his life. As he stared at his soon to be wife in admiration he simultaneously scooped up his daughter and hugged her tight. After soaking in the moment, the three set off for to the church.
After the I do's it was time to celebrate at the Essex Yacht Club. The rain had stopped threatening and officially arrived so the guests gathered for an intimate cocktail hour inside. Toward the end of cocktail hour, the rain lightened and they decided to head outside for some portraits. The docks glistened with fallen rain and the wind off the water was quite chilly but true love shines (and keeps you warm).
Chrissy & Jonathan spent the evening dancing and laughing, warm from days events and thoughts of their future. True love shines, and Chrissy & Jonathan lit up the entire yacht club.
