Hi, Friends!
Welcome to March, which, as the old adage goes, certainly came in like a lion, both personally and weather wise.
You may remember from last week, Lucy received chemo on Thursday and didn't feel well. at. all. Well, unfortunately, the side effects carried on into this week. Luckily, I had brought my computer to New Jersey, so I stayed with my parents to get a little help with our poor munchkin and was still able to get some work done too. Inquiries for 2019 are starting to pour in, and I'm getting excited for what's to come. Poor Mike had to come back to Connecticut without us because of work. This season of our life isn't easy, but it's still beautiful!
Day 56: A stunning calla lily burst into bloom and welcomed us home from Philadelphia on Friday. This Sunday, I noticed that one of the flowers was a delicate shade of lilac while the others were crisp white.
Day 57: Wonder what she's dreaming about? Sleepy baby smiles melt my heart.
Day 58: Took a long walk through my home town with Lucy.
Day 59: Couple goals :)
Day 60: Do you like my hat? Brides, if you ever need fashion advice, Lucy has some amazing avante garde ideas!
Day 61: Lucy had a blood draw in the morning. Most of the time, she falls asleep on the ten minute ride home. In order to let her get some sleep, I stop somewhere pretty and answer emails on my phone.
Day 61: Sushi used to be one of our favorite date nights. In fact, sushi was our first official date, but after a 9 month hiatus to have Lucy, I found that once she arrived, I can barely look at it. But veggie sushi? Veggie sushi is now a fave :)
