Treatment weeks aren't our favorite weeks, but we try to take our cues from Lucy. There are tears, because, well, why wouldn't there be? But for the most part, there are smiles, there is laughter, and there is fun. Even on the hardest days, this girl is an unstoppable force of nature. I am so proud to be her Mama.
Day 227: More reading in the pool, only this time, we took the pool onto the porch instead of staying in the living room. Love our tiny reader. I believe the ordinary moments are simply extraordinary.

This girl.

Day 228: A brand new adventure! And she LOVED it!

Day 229: Dinner plate dahlias are my favorite.

Day 230: It was a treatment week and as Lucy waited for her turn in the OR, Gramby kept her company.

The afternoon of treatment is NEVER easy.

Day 231: Lucy's eyes are still swollen and supersensative the morning after Wills Eye, so we wear our sunglasses inside. Despite all obstacles, this girl is always a ball of sunshine (she picked out her outfit).

Day 232: LOOK! THE MOON!

Day 233: Officially a full moon over my street.

See you next week!

J
